– Washington’s newest public relations social group (and the old Washington PR Meetup Group), is having another meeting! Where? When? Why?

This month’s topic: How We Love To Be Humiliated, Yelled At And Hung Up On… or Pitching Hell. Come share your pitching stories, the good, the bad or the ugly and what you’ve learned from your experiences with the group. We hope to have print, radio and television pitching stories to share, and we’ve found the perfect relaxed location to do just that:

Penang. It’s a gorgeous little Asian resto/bar sitting above the corner of 19th and M NW. We’ve got a 5:30 reservation for the lounge, and we’re hard to miss. Bring your friends, your boss, your co-workers, your intern(s) or just someone you want to impress by having the most horrific pitching stories! And remember: we’re a new group out to have fun, learn from each other, and meet new folks who can make us look like we’re doing a great job to our clients/bosses. Participation at these early events really helps everyone out.
